Wright State University will offer a combination of remote, flexible delivery and socially distant in-person classes this fall.
The flexible delivery option will feature in-person delivery with a remote option.
The school says they are currently assigning classrooms for all in-person classes and hope to finish in the next week or so.
Classrooms are being reconfigured for safety and physical distancing and outfitted with webcams, recording software and other technology to prepare for remote and flexibly delivered courses.
A plan for safety in the classroom space and across campus is in the works. This plan will include safety protocols for physical distancing, cleaning, entering and exiting classrooms, signage and other aspects of managing the return to campus, Douglas W. Leaman, Ph.D. Interim Provost said in a Facebook post.
Virtual Parent Forums will be available for parents to attend an online meeting with representatives from Residence Life and Housing, Dining, Student Success, faculty, the Registrar’s Office, Lake Campus and Student Health.
Single rooms will be available for residents this fall. Additional safety protocols, including guidelines for visitors, public spaces and social gatherings will be in place. Plans are also in place for positive cases of COVID-19.
