The leader of Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine is stepping down.
Margaret M. Dunn will leave her role as dean of the medical school, spokesman Seth Bauguess told this news organization via email today.
The administration plans to launch a search for a new dean this fall, Bauguess said. Dunn will remain in the dean’s role until her replacement is found, which Bauguess said the university hopes to find some time next spring.
Dunn has served as dean of the medical school since February 2015, according to WSU. She has worked for the university’s medical school since 1982.
Dunn is also a professor of surgery in the school of medicine. Dunn plans to return to a faculty position in the school, she said when reached via email today.
