Wright State University will hold an event in May to help connect veterans with local resources and job opportunities.
The “Vets Moving Forward” event hopes to help connect veterans with local resources like the Dayton VA Medical Center, speak with employers, obtain a veteran identification card and more, according to a release.
The event will take place May 18 and be held at the student union from 3–7 p.m.
The Greater Dayton RTA will offer free rides for veterans for any military, active duty, or veterans attending the event.
To ride for free to and from the event, you must show the bus driver a valid military ID.
