Wright State University (WSU) hosted the 9th annual Raidersgiving Wednesday. The university hosts the event for students or other members of the Raider community who can't return home or decide to stay on campus over the Thanksgiving holiday.
The meal was different this year because of coronavirus, with staff holding a socially distanced boxed meal giveaway in the Apollo room from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Christopher Hogan, Assistant Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct, shared that four types of meals were available:
- Traditional Thanksgiving with roast turkey
- Vegan with beans and potato stew
- Gluten-free with turkey and mashed potatoes
- Halal with chicken kabob and rice
