The Wright State University Retirees Association will host our Annual Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Friday, May 6, in the E.J. Nutter Center Berry Room. Our guest speaker, Dayton City Manager Shelley Dickstein, will talk about the progress that has been made in revitalizing the city. The deadline for registering has been extended to Friday, April 22.
The doors to the E.J. Nutter Center Berry Room will open at 11 a.m. for social hour, and a buffet luncheon, including a vegetarian option, will begin around noon. This will be our first in person get-together since the pandemic began in 2020.
Dickstein was appointed Dayton City Manager in 2016 and oversees a city budget of more than $600 million and a workforce of approximately 1,900 employees. During her 25-year tenure, Dickstein was responsible for completion of 125 development projects that created 4,800 new jobs, supported the retention of 15,000 jobs, and leveraged more than $260 million of development in the Dayton community.

To register, download, print and return this registration form (PDF) along with your check for $30 per person. RSVPs are due by Friday, April 22, 2022, and confirmations will be sent by email. If cancellation is necessary due to illness, payment will be refunded. Other reimbursements will be considered dependent upon the resale of your reservation.
This year, the WSURA board made the commitment to support the Raider Food Pantry, which offers free grocery items to our university students. We invite attendees to join us in this worthy cause by bringing nonperishable items to this event.
