John A. Vogel, 66, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 15, 1950 to Paul & Rita (Reboulet) Vogel.
John was a Professor of Accounting at Wright State University. He served our country with honor in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.
Preceded in death by parents and his brothers, Gerry & Paul W. Vogel. Survived by daughters, Dr. Susan Vogel (JF Cardin), Amy Franz (Dirk) & Sarah Vogel; son, Daniel Vogel; mother of his children, Ann Vogel; grandchildren, Jude, Norah & Meghan; sister, Ann Gladura; sister-in-law, Clara Vogel; numerous nieces, nephews & friends.
Private burial of his cremated remains will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery on a future date.
