Mary Lorraine Kelly, Age 63, a lifelong resident of Dayton, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 11, 2017.
Lorraine was born August 11, 1953 to the late John D. and Pearl Lie (Kelly) Jackson. She attended Dunbar High School and recently retired from Wright State University after many dedicated years of service in Custodial Services.
Preceded in death by her sister, Anna Pearl Camp; cherished daughter, April M. Kelly (to whom she heartfully fulfilled a promise to raise April's two children). Survivors include daughter, Yolonda Kelly "Turtle"; grandsons, Darren Thompson, Darnell Edwards; sister, Betty Joyce Taylor; brother, Steven Jackson, all of Dayton; devoted nephew, Deangelo Camp "Kat"; special son-in-law, Sentell A. Smith; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
