Election Schedule and Timeline

Petitions Open: March 10 at 8 a.m. through March 21 at 5 p.m.

Are you interested in joining the Student Government Association? If you said yes, you should become a candidate in this year's elections! Complete the Student Government Candidacy Application Form and you will receive an email from the Student Government Association Policy Administrator, sga4@wright.edu with the following steps. This MUST be completed to advance to next steps.

Campaigning: March 24 at 8 a.m. through March 29 at 5 p.m.

The day of campaigning finally begins. Candidates and Campaign Managers should make sure to read and abide by all the Campaign Regulations as established by the Special Elections Committee (information will be emailed out). Students, Faculty, Staff, and members of the community may submit violations if a candidate breaks any of the campaign regulations. Violations may be submitted through the violations form.

Elections : March 30 at Noon through April 3 at 5 p.m.

Registered Wright State University students will be able to vote for next year's Student Government Association President, Vice President, and Senators. Voting will occur through events on campus, QR codes, social media, and WINGS.  Students will be able to vote for the President and Vice President ticket, their college's Senator, and a Senator based on where the voting student lives - Commuter Senator or Residential Senator.
