Targeted Population: First-time business students

The Business Buddies program aims to increase students' sense of belonging and in turn, retention. New business students will be paired with their buddies (existing students) for guidance while navigating student life. The Business Buddies program will build relationships among business students and help with comprehensive student experiences, such as navigating academics, accessing Pilot, or being a friend to talk to.

Involvement Mentor Program

Targeted Population: Uninvolved students
Contact: Dylan Collison

Involvement mentors are specially trained peers tasked with engaging and supporting uninvolved students at Wright State University. This program is open to all students, but is especially popular for first-year and transfer students. The mentors help students evaluate their involvement capabilities, assist with time management, coordinate involvement planning, and make recommendations for involvement. By the end of a meeting with an involvement mentor, students can expect to have their involvement experience planned out for their entire college experience. Opportunities range from low commitment organizations and activities to holistic leadership opportunities.
