2LT Eric M. Payton Scholarship

The Wright State University Army ROTC Alumni established a scholarship to honor the memory of 2LT Eric M. Payton, Class of 2001. The scholarship is awarded to the Cadet who, as 2LT Payton, is an outstanding scholar, athlete, and leader.

2LT Payton was an exceptional individual who embodied numerous exceedingly positive personality traits that made him stand out. Alumni, friends, and family established the scholarship to honor his memory and use his name in connection with the development of the United States Army future leaders.
