About Graduate Faculty Membership
The engagement of Wright State's graduate faculty is the key to the success of our students and our university. Their involvement in teaching, research, and program administration sets the stage for an academic experience that is second to none. Graduate Faculty Membership can be obtained through the nomination and review process described below. Detailed instructions are also available in a Notebook located in the Graduate Program Leaders SharePoint Group.

For assistance, please contact The College of Graduate Programs and Honors Studies via the email address or telephone numbers listed below.
Process
To nominate a candidate for Graduate Faculty Membership, please prepare materials as described in WSU Policy 2160. Submit the information via the Graduate Faculty Membership App and include all required attachments.
The program, including the program director/leaders and faculty, should collectively determine the level of candidate eligibility and approve their participation in the program. After nomination materials have been assembled including a CV in the recommended format (see CBA 119-121), launch the Power App called “Graduate Faculty Membership Nomination”.
Enter all information and upload attachments. Submission will prompt notifications to primary and secondary approvers to approve the nomination for subsequent review by the Dean (or designee) of the College of Graduate Programs and Honors Studies.
Please note that nominations requiring consideration by the Graduate Faculty Membership Committee (GFMC) must reach the College of Graduate Programs and Honors Studies at least fourteen (14) days before the next GFMC meeting to be eligible for such consideration.
How can I check faculty membership status and expiration date? Graduate Faculty membership status is regularly updated as nominations are reviewed (normally on a weekly basis). The membership list including membership category and expiration date is published here and can be sorted by category.
