Melanie Garza Villanueva

What are your hobbies, and how are you involved on campus?
If I’m not spending my time at the library studying for my classes, sometimes I just walk around and join random activities that are happening. If there is free food, I AM THERE! I also spent time on Wednesday at a bible study last semester. I also hold the position of Alumni Latino Center Student Associate and help Wright State connect with our Latino alumni.

Determined, loyal, free-spirited, creative, perfectionist(sometimes), understanding, loving.

What are you passionate about?
I am most passionate about my family. I am the first to go to college. I have to give it my best so later I can have a job I love and help my mom. I am also passionate about Harry Styles.

What are you looking forward to most in mentoring new students?
I am looking forward to being someone who can make others feel welcomed and comfortable. I did not experience this during my first semester, so I want to try to be as helpful to others as I possibly can.
