Money Management: Financial Literacy
Students are assessed fees for tuition, on-campus housing, and the majority of other costs on a term-by-term basis. Most of these charges appear on students' billing statements. Students can view their account charges and make payments online via WINGS. To estimate your term costs, add your anticipated charges from below, and then subtract your accepted financial aid awards on your Award Notice for the applicable term. Our Cost Estimator can help you establish your costs for each term.
Examples of costs include:
Tuition and Fees
Books and Supplies
NOTE: Costs for books and supplies will be based upon your registered courses each term. Charges for books and supplies do not appear on your student account. Instead, books and supplies must be purchased out-of-pocket. Often students will credit monies to their Wright1 Card to purchase books at the Wright State Bookstore, and the charge to the Wright1 Card appears on the student's account. Contact Enrollment Services for more information about crediting monies on your Wright1 Card for books.
On Campus Housing
NOTE: Note some housing costs include meal plans (board). Pay close attention to application deadline dates and cancellation and refund policies.
Other Costs
Examples of other costs include Student Health Insurance and Student Legal Services which are assessed at the time of registration each term but can be declined. If you have any difficulty or questions regarding waiving these services, contact Enrollment Services. There are deadlines to opt-out of the purchase of these services and to remove the fees from your bill.
Boonshoft School of Medicine and School of Professional Psychology students are encouraged to contact their respective schools for more information about professional school costs.
