Our Latino Si Se Puede Course explores success strategies needed for a positive first-year experience. The course addresses barriers to academic success, builds bridges to resources on campus, encourages engagement, and lifts up each student to help them reach their goals. The course includes a built in peer mentorship component, with each student assigned to a peer mentor for regular follow up throughout their first semester. The course is taught in English. No Spanish speaking skills are required. We are Amigos Latinos, where you don't have to be Latino to be a friend.
