Women's Center

About

Gender impacts us all.

Wright State’s Women’s Center is an inclusive, safe environment where students, faculty, staff, and community members feel supported, challenged, encouraged, and connected. The center unites people interested in gender equity activism and education and offers opportunities to explore how gender impacts all of our lives through programs, resources, and strategic partnerships. Everyone is welcome!

The Women’s Center supports student, faculty, and staff success through its two main goals: 1) Community-building and outreach and 2) Education and advocacy.

Community-Building & Outreach

  • Provides community space for studying, student organizations, and making friends
  • Free coffee and printing
  • Builds partnerships with local organizations and campus departments to help cast a wide net of support

Education & Advocacy

  • Hosts educational events pertaining to gender equity, awareness months and days, and international campaigns
  • Actively works to improve campus climate for marginalized students, faculty, and staff.
