About Recreation Commons

Located off of the atrium on the lower level of the Student Union, this space provides a relaxing atmosphere for the Wright State community to unwind with passive recreational opportunities. Comfortable seating and study tables surround a 65” flat-screen television. Two computers are also available for student, faculty, and staff use. Students and recreation members have access to play billiards, table tennis, darts, and foosball.

Playing Billiards, Darts, and Table Tennis

Students wishing to play billiards and Darts should bring their Wright1 Card to the Recreation Desk. Once they check-in, the staff will issue the necessary equipment (billiards and dart players are not permitted to use their own billiards balls or darts). Billiard players will be charged a nominal fee of $1.50 per half hour which will be paid when the equipment is returned. Payment must be either cash, check, or credit card. No Raider Cash will be accepted.

Students and recreation members wishing to play table tennis may check out paddles by exchanging their Wright1 Card for paddles at no charge. Table tennis balls are available for $.25 and are yours to keep. Once players are finished with the paddles, they must be returned to the Recreation Desk in exchange for their Wright1 Card.
