Schedule for Registration
Primary Registration: April 15–May 15
- First registration opportunity for all student organizations whose officers function from August to May.
- Completing registration by this deadline permits the student organization access to participate in Do the U and Fall Fest and campus-wide events throughout the academic year.
- Failure to complete registration by May 15 will result in a frozen status until secondary registration opens.
BSOM Registration: July 20-August 20
- BSOM registration is for registered student organizations who operate on the BSOM academic schedule and are interested in being an active student organization for the spring semester of the academic year.
- Completing registration by this deadline permits the student organization access to participate in events and meetings, and campus wide events held by the Boonshoft School of Medicine
- Failure to complete registration by July 30 will result in frozen status for the semester, but you can complete secondary or fall registration for the next academic year.
Secondary Registration: August 1–August 15
- Second registration opportunity for all student organizations whose officers function from August to May.
- Completing registration by this date gives you access to Do the U and Fall Fest and campus-wide events throughout the academic year.
- Failure to complete registration by August 15 will result in a frozen status for the semester with accessibility to complete fall registration.
Fall Registration: September 5–September 30
- Fall registration opportunity for registered student organizations
- Completing registration during this time does permit student organizations to participate in campus-wide events at the beginning of the fall semester.
- Failure to complete registration by September 30 will result in frozen status for the semester with accessibility to complete spring registration.
Calendar Registration: November 15–December 15
- Calendar registration is for registered student organizations whose officers function from January to December.
- Completing the SORT requirements permits the student organization to participate in campus-wide events such as student organization fairs/expos and April Craze.
- Failure to complete registration by December 15 will result in frozen status for the semester with accessibility to complete spring registration to obtain active status for the spring semester.
- This is a separate registration from the other registrations.
Spring Registration: January 5–January 30
- Spring registration is for registered student organizations who missed fall or calendar registration but are interested in being an active student organization for the spring semester of the current academic year.
- Completing registration by this deadline permits student organizations to participate in campus-wide events throughout the spring semester, including April Craze.
- Failure to complete registration by January 30 will result in frozen status for the semester, but you can complete primary registration April 15 - May 30 for the next academic year.
Training
The open training schedule is available through the Engage Events Calendar and the University Events Calendar. During each open registration and training period, student organization leaders will receive notification via email providing instructions and information about the specific training available during that time.
The SORT training will be available during the following times:
- Primary Training: April 20–May 20
- BSOM Training: July 20-August 20
- Secondary Training: August 5–August 15
- Fall Training: September 5–September 30
- Calendar Training: November 15–December 15 and January 5–January 30
- Spring Training: January 5–January 30
