Bullying in the Workplace
Approximately 30 minutes
Bullying is now four times more common than illegal discrimination and harassment, and has devastating long-term effects on both the workforce and on overall organizational retention. Still, many managers don’t know how to spot or handle bullying, and most employees don’t know how to prevent becoming a victim of bullying.
Mosaic trainings
Approximately 60 minutes
This course is designed to raise awareness about workplace harassment and discrimination, as well as campus sexual violence, to reduce or prevent incidents of misconduct. It covers essential material relating to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and abusive conduct in a focused interactive course that will engage employees and give them the skills for responding to and preventing harassment and abusive conduct in the workplace.
Diversity: Skills for Collaboration
Approximately 60 minutes
As the world around us is changing and getting more complex, so is the workplace. It’s an increasingly diverse workforce. Since people, in general, are not comfortable with change or the unfamiliar, employees must learn to collaborate with those who are both like and unlike themselves for maximum individual productivity and organizational effectiveness. This course is designed to help employees successfully work together with diverse co-workers by encouraging respectful behavior, reducing bias, and explaining how cooperation can overcome conflict. The course also identifies the challenges and opportunities arising from human diversity, and helps employees understand the need for a respectful workplace and the barriers that prevent full participation.
Bridges: Building a Supportive Community
Approximately 60 minutes
LawRoom developed this course to help colleges and universities comply with employee education requirements relating to sexual misconduct under Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 and Section 304(a)(5) of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (known as the "Campus SaVE Act"). This course trains faculty and staff on how to recognize, report, and prevent sexual misconduct against students, covering sexual and interpersonal violence awareness and prevention subjects required under Title IX guidance, the Campus SaVE Act, and the final VAWA regulations.
Bridges includes an extensive discussion about what constitutes sexual misconduct, from verbal sexual harassment to sexual and interpersonal violence, and includes information and interactive scenarios aimed at ensuring employees know how to identify and report incidents of sexual misconduct to campus officials so that schools can take prompt and appropriate action.
In addition, as required by the Campus SaVE Act, the course includes summaries of the legal definitions of consent, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, and provides copies of the relevant statutes for the applicable jurisdiction within the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
