I Have Something to Report
Wright State University is committed to preventing, detecting, and correcting violations of law and university policy. Each member of the Wright State community shares this responsibility.
Wright State University’s Title IX Coordinator is Kate Page.
Reporting
If you are looking to report something anonymously, please see the next section below.
If you or someone you know has been the victim, or you have reason to believe someone has been the victim, of sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, attempted or completed sexual violence, stalking, intimate partner or dating violence, or discrimination based on sex in a university program or activity, you are encouraged to bring it to the attention of the Title IX Coordinator or a resource listed in University Policy 1270. If you would like to initiate a police investigation of a sexual assault or other crime, call 9-1-1 if it is an emergency or the Wright State police at 937-775-2111 as soon as possible.
Reports can be made in person to the Title IX Coordinator, via telephone at 937-775-3512, using the Title IX Coordinators' email address, or via email at compliance@wright.edu. You may submit an anonymous report; however, without the contact information of the complainant and the ability to investigate further, the university may be limited in how it can respond.
If you wish to submit a formal complaint through email or written format, please send it to the Title IX Coordinator or compliance@wright.edu and include the following:
- Your name, your affiliation to Wright State (student, staff, faculty, etc.)
- Who you are filing the formal complaint against and their affiliation with Wright State (student staff, faculty, etc.)
- Indicate what you are filing for (discrimination, harassment, etc.)
- Details on what happened and why you believe this to be a violation of university policy
You may also report through EthicsPoint, a third-party system used by thousands of organizations, that allows people to report suspected illegal or unethical conduct.
- Toll-Free HOTLINE @ 1-855-353-3783
- Through the website: www.wright.ethicspoint.com
EthicsPoint is NOT a 911 or Emergency service. If you need emergency assistance, call 911.
Once you submit the formal complaint, you will be contacted regarding the next steps.
Anonymous Reporting
Should you wish to remain anonymous in your report, you can report using EthicsPoint through one of the following two methods. Please be advised that anonymity may limit the response of the University. We work to maintain anonymity but it may be possible for others to identify the reporter based on the information you provide.
