Crawford Hoying is seeking dedicated, hardworking students to help maintenance and housekeeping prepare the buildings for summer camps/conferences and fall residents. This is a 4 day per week seasonal position beginning after spring move-out until fall move-in. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. with the option to work on Friday. Team members are required to work two Saturday shifts from 8 a.m.–noon in July and two Saturday shifts in August from 8 a.m.–noon. You will be given the option to work on Saturday, August 24 for apartment move-in day.
Compensation is $12 per hour and residents can earn up to a $1650 credit toward summer housing. The $1650 summer housing credit is earned in increments over the course of the summer.
Positions
- Housekeeping (17 positions)
- Deep clean of rooms and common areas in the Woods, Honors, University Park, College Park, and the Village. This includes sanitizing all surfaces, cleaning of toilets, showers, and kitchen appliances, vacuuming, and mopping, to name a few.
- Assist with move out inspections at the beginning of summer and perform additional inspections as needed.
- Assist all other departments as needed.
- Maintenance (1 position)
- Assisting maintenance in a fast-paced environment by getting supplies, tools, or completing minor maintenance tasks, assist with furniture and flooring projects, and all other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
- Assist with move-out inspections at the beginning of summer and perform additional inspections as needed.
- Assist all other departments as needed.
