Unordered Lists
Unordered lists are used to organize a collection of items that do not need to be in any particular order. Place your copy into the body of the page, then highlight the items you would like included in your unordered list.
Plants
Trees
Oak
Maple
Sugar Maple
Japanese Maple
Silver Maple
Paperbark Maple
Pine
Flowers
Carnation
Daffodils
Your list will appear as follows:
- Plants
- Trees
- Oak
- Maple
- Sugar Maple
- Japanese Maple
- Silver Maple
- Paperbark Maple
- Pine

- Carnation
- Daffodils
Once you have created a list, you can nest the information using the Increase and Decrease Indent Tools in the Drupal Content Toolbar. Select the items you wish to be subordinates, and then use the Increase Indent Tool to subordinate items.

You can use the list tool to outline or organize information. To change the outline hierarchy designation (circles, discs, squares), highlight the items you wish to change and right-click to bring up a menu; choose "Bulleted List Properties."
The list may have many levels of hierarchy:

- Trees
- Oak
- Maple
- Sugar Maple
- Japanese Maple
- Silver Maple
- Paperbark Maple
- Pine
- Flowers
- Carnation
- Daffodils
- Trees
Ordered Lists
Ordered Lists should contain information that is sequential, chronological, or ranked in some way. Place your copy into the body of the page, then highlight the items you would like included in your ordered list. For example, the following recipe should be in a numbered list.
Mix dry ingredients thoroughly.
Pour in wet ingredients.
Mix for 10 minutes.
Pour batter into 9" x 13" x 3" greased baking pan
Bake for one hour at 300 degrees.
Your list will appear as follows:
