2025 Benefits Open Enrollment: Vision and Hearing

Benefit-eligible employees (75% FTE or higher) can elect vision coverage with Vision Service Plan (VSP) with or without electing medical and/or dental coverage. In addition, eligible dependents who are not enrolled in medical and/or dental coverage may enroll in vision coverage if the employee is enrolled as the policyholder.

Members may receive vision care from any VSP in-network provider or select retail units. Vision care can also be obtained from a non-VSP provider with lower reimbursement. 

VSP also offers Hearing Aid benefits to its members. VSP Vision Care members can save up to 60% on the latest brand-name hearing aids. Dependents and even extended family members are eligible for exclusive savings too.

As a reminder, VSP does not mail vision insurance cards. You can retrieve your card on the VSP website or inform your provider that your vision plan is associated with Wright State University.
