Did you know that as a student you can download Microsoft Office for free? A new program at WSU called Student Advantage gives all students access to download free subscription copies of Microsoft Office ProPlus, which includes full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. Students can install the software on up to five personally-owned PCs/Macs and up to five mobile devices, including iOS and Android devices. The software has the same features and functions as other versions of Office and can be used offline. However, students must connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify they are still eligible for the program.
Already have Office on your laptop? You can still download Student Advantage on your smart phone or tablet. This allows you to leave your laptop at home while still being able to take notes while you’re in class.

• Software should not be installed on university-owned computers
• Uninstall any copies of Office before installing Student Advantage
• Keep any Office software you purchased through CaTS (you’ll need it after you graduate)
