About Campus Housing Wired Connectivity
Students living on campus should utilize the wireless networks (WSU-Secure, WSU_EZ_Connect, or Student-Wireless) to access the internet. The following buildings also have a network jack in each room, which is inactive upon move-in and will only be activated on an exception basis:
- Honors Dorm West Wing
- Jacob Hall
- College Park 2150
- University Park 2090
- Village 2030
- Hamilton Hall
- Forest Lane Apartments

Getting Started
Wired connections will only be granted on an exception basis. When submitting a wired port activation request, please describe your need in as much detail as possible. If you need a wired connection in your room, submit the Network Port Activation Form.
Please Note: Network equipment such as switches and routers are not permitted on the Campus network.
