The next time you change your password, you will only have one password for both your campus (w012abc) and Office 365 (last.#@wright.edu or first.last@wright.edu) accounts. This change will reduce your number of Wright State passwords from three to two.
For the steps you need to take the next time you change your password, see the following website:
https://www.wright.edu/information-technology/about/article/changes-to-w...
Important Notes:
- Your UID and PIN will not be affected by this change
- All password changes should be done through the “Change Password” tool in WINGS. See how: www.wright.edu/node/36664#pw
- You will need to update your mobile device passwords for both your email apps and ‘WSU-Secure’ wireless network. See how: www.wright.edu/node/36664#mobile
- The password change feature in Office 365 will still be available. However, using this feature will cause the passwords for your accounts to become out of sync. Doing this is not recommended by CaTS.
This change is the first phase of CaTS working toward a full Single Sign On service/system. Once all phases have been completed, this will allow users to sign into multiple services, including WINGS, WINGS Express, and Office 365, using one account.
For questions, you may contact the CaTS Help Desk at (937) 775-4827 or send an email to helpdesk@wright.edu.
