To download drivers on this page if you're not currently on the WSU-Secure wireless network or a wired campus computer, you will need to set up and start VPN first.

Student and Guest Printing

Students and guests can now use Secure Print Queues. Print jobs can only be released by the user who sends the job. This provides added privacy for print jobs. You can release your print job at any PrintWright enabled device. To pay for printing, you must have a Wright1 Card with money deposited in the Raider Cash account.

Faculty and Staff Secure Print

When using an on-campus printer, there are two options for how to send your print job. The first of these options is Secure Print.

With the Secure Print option, you must swipe your Wright 1 card at a multifunction printer in order to release your print job. Since the print job is held in a queue and released only when you swipe, this provides better protection when printing sensitive documents. You can also choose to print your document at any multifunction device on campus. This option only works on multifunction printers with attached card readers.

To use Secure Print, choose one of the following download options to obtain the correct print driver.

• WSU Secure Print for Active Directory Client - Choose this option if your Windows PC is connected to the Wright State domain. Not sure? Right-click on your “Computer” icon and choose “Properties.” Look for the “Domain:” option. If it says “wright.edu” you are connected to the domain.
• WSU Secure Print for Non Active Directory Client – Choose this option if your Windows PC is not connected to the Wright State domain.
• Secure Print for Mac – Choose this option if you’re using a Mac.
• Secure Print for Linux

Faculty and Staff Direct Print

The second option for printing is using Direct Print. With the Direct Print option, you can print directly to both multifunction and non-multifunction devices. You do not have to swipe your card to release the print job. Instead, you must authenticate on screen with your campus username and password after you send your print job. You stay authenticated for Direct Print until you restart your computer.

To get started, simply choose one of the printer below (listed by building) and follow the guided installation process.

* Phaser Printers are standalone with no card readers, and are not multifunctional, while the WorkCentre devices are multifunction with card readers.
