Updates to Contact Information in WINGS Express

Tuesday, June 25, 2019

CaTS is in the process of improving the self-service Campus password reset function using the 'Password Management' link on the WINGS login page. This change will eliminate the need for security questions, and allow you to reset your password through a process similar to your other personal, non-Wright State accounts.

We want to make sure we have the accurate contact information for you in WINGS Express.

Please take time to review and update your contact information for you in WINGS Express.

To add an external email address, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to wings.wright.edu with your Campus 'w' username and password
  2. Click on the 'WINGS Express' icon in the top righthand corner
  3. Select the 'Personal Information' tab
  4. Click on 'Update E-mail Addresses'
  5. If your external email address isn't currently listed, select 'External E-mail Address' from the dropdown list next to 'Type of E-mail to Insert' and click 'Submit'
  6. Enter your external, non @wright.edu email address and click 'Submit'

Additionally, please verify there is a current mobile phone number on file for you in WINGS Express. You will also be required to enter your address when adding your phone number.

  1. Log in to wings.wright.edu with your Campus 'w' username and password
  2. Click on the 'WINGS Express' icon in the top righthand corner
  3. Select the 'Personal Information' tab
  4. Click on 'Update Addresses and Phones'
  5. Select 'Home/Primary' from the dropdown list next to 'Type of Address to Change' and click 'Submit'
  6. Enter your current address and an up-to-date phone number, and click 'Submit'

If your address or phone number ever changes, you will need to follow the steps listed above to update it.

These updates are in preparation for the upcoming move to a single username and password to log in to many systems including WINGS Express and the 'Password Management' service. In the near future, when using the self-service 'Password Management' service you will have the ability to receive a one-time access code sent to an external, non @wright.edu email account,or a cell phone with SMS service.

If you have any questions, or for assistance updating your information through WINGS Express, contact the CaTS Help Desk at (937) 775-4827, or email helpdesk@wright.edu
